Questions Families Ask Before They Begin
Agape offers a more thoughtful, discreet, and personalized way to arrange non-medical support at home. Below are answers to the questions families most often ask as they consider care, companionship, and day-to-day assistance.
Agape is a referral agency that helps families arrange refined, non-medical caregiver support at home. Our role is to help identify and coordinate well-aligned caregiver matches based on schedule, household rhythm, support needs, and the overall standard of service a family is seeking.
Depending on the needs of the client and the scope of the arrangement, caregiver support may include respite care, personal care support, grooming and hygiene assistance, bathing assistance, medication reminders, meal planning, companionship, conversation, walking assistance, grocery shopping, errands, transportation, escort to meals, light housekeeping, and help with laundry.
Agape arranges non-medical support only. The focus is on daily living assistance, companionship, household support, and personal care within the lawful scope of non-medical caregiving.
Caregivers may provide medication reminders as part of non-medical support. Medications should already be organized and ready according to the client’s established routine and the direction of the family or appropriate medical professionals. Agape does not arrange skilled medical care or clinical medication administration.
Every match begins with a conversation. We take time to understand the client’s preferences, household environment, schedule, mobility needs, personality, and desired level of support. Our goal is not simply to fill hours. It is to help create a care arrangement that feels calm, consistent, respectful, and well suited to the home.
Yes. Fit matters. If a caregiver relationship does not feel aligned, Agape can assist in identifying a stronger match. We believe the right support arrangement should feel dependable, comfortable, and natural within the home.
Yes. Agape can help arrange a schedule that reflects your household’s actual rhythm, whether that means occasional support, daily visits, extended daytime coverage, overnight support, or a more custom routine.
Agape can help arrange overnight, extended-shift, and more comprehensive support schedules depending on caregiver availability and the level of assistance required.
The first step is a private consultation. We learn about the client, the home, the schedule, the level of support needed, and the kind of caregiver presence that would feel most helpful. From there, we guide the next steps with care and discretion.
