Screened and Qualified
- Proficient in English
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of professional caregiving experience
- Personally interviewed
- Professional reference checks completed
- Criminal background check completed
- Driving record verified
- Valid driver’s license
Training and Readiness
- CPR certified
- Initial training totaling 5 hours
- Orientation covering agency expectations
- Safety and core competency training, including infection control
- Annual continuing training totaling 5 hours
- Negative tuberculosis screening
Protection and Assurance
- $2,500 criminal bond
- $1 million liability insurance coverage
- Professional presentation and reliability
- Commitment to comfort, dignity, and respectful support
