Screened and Qualified

  • Proficient in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional caregiving experience
  • Personally interviewed
  • Professional reference checks completed
  • Criminal background check completed
  • Driving record verified
  • Valid driver’s license

Training and Readiness

  • CPR certified
  • Initial training totaling 5 hours
  • Orientation covering agency expectations
  • Safety and core competency training, including infection control
  • Annual continuing training totaling 5 hours
  • Negative tuberculosis screening

Protection and Assurance

  • $2,500 criminal bond
  • $1 million liability insurance coverage
